Veradia Collective · Los Angeles

Built to last. Built together.

We partner with developers, builders and cities to turn vacant and underused land into safe, beautiful homes for the people who need them most.

Our Name

VERA Latin for truth

Honest numbers, clear roles and promises we keep, with the people we house and the cities we build with.

DIA The mark on every blueprint

Short for diameter, the line that turns a plan into a building. Design and construction that are made to last.

Every community on the West Coast deserves well-designed homes it can afford, and land that once sat idle can become lasting community capital.

Why Now

People need homes. Land sits empty. We connect the two.

Families displaced by fire

Thousands of Los Angeles families lost homes to fire. Many still wait on insurance, with jobs and children in local schools and nowhere nearby to stay.

Survivors starting over

Many survivors of domestic violence have nowhere safe to go once a shelter stay ends. That gap is where too many return to danger.

Land sitting idle

Vacant lots, empty motels and overlooked public parcels sit unused across the city, waiting for a purpose.

What We Believe

Five promises behind every building.

Built to last

Durable buildings, durable finances, durable promises.

Dignity in design

Homes residents are proud to come home to.

Safety first

Physical, financial and emotional safety.

Partnership

Better work alongside developers, cities and service providers.

Accountability

We measure what we do and publish the results.

What We Build

How We Partner

We bring the mission. Partners bring the build.

We don't try to do everything ourselves. Veradia brings the mission, community trust and access to public and philanthropic funding, and works alongside experienced developers and builders. Every community is owned for the long term.

For developers

  • A mission-aligned partner for community support and city approvals
  • Access to public and philanthropic capital alongside your own
  • Shared commitment to design quality and safety

For cities

  • Housing delivered on land that is currently idle
  • One accountable partner coordinating every party
  • Long-term community assets, not one-off projects

For neighbors

  • Listening sessions before a site is chosen
  • Plans shared early, concerns answered in writing
  • Resident and neighborhood advisory groups
